1. The Ph.D. Program is an international program, but offered in Thailand.  What are the international activities offered by the Program?

The Program has invited international faculty members from famous universities to offer special research seminars on the topics of interest throughout the year.  The students will also be encouraged to participate in an international conferences, workshops, or seminars in which the students can gain international experience.  They will participate in the mobility program annually which they can exchange their research ideas and build networking with students from other universities in ASEAN.  In addition, on case by case basis, the students will have an opportunity to get international faculty members from our partner universities to jointly supervise their research.

2. Does the program provide scholarship or some financial support to the Ph.D. students?

Yes, the program will indirectly provide Research Assistantship and financial support to some selected students.  Scholarships will also be available for the exceptional highly-qualified students.

3. What are the research areas that the Ph.D. students can focus on?

 The students’ research topics are based on the students’ interest in the area of Logistics and Engineering Management.  The program will help the students to match their research interests with the faculty members who are the experts in the area.

I have decided to return to school again while being a full-time lecturer at Suan Sunandah Rajabhat University.  With this decision, it has made me become the senior student in the class
(^-^#).  I have been told that it won’t be an easy studying for me.  Phd program would definitely require most of my time and suck of my all energy.  Sooner and later on I should be tired.  These were what I was told and almost agree upon in somehow.  However, after first few months at school, I come to find myself happier, and feel fresh and younger with full of an extreme energy.  My instructors are so nice and totally understand well in all students.  With receiving the full support and clear guiding from them, I am gaining more self-confidence and feel that I can take myself to a higher step to reach Doctoral Degree.  I would like to express my appreciation to my instructors for their kind encouragement, to those nice and very kind administrators, and definitely to Mahidol University where I have been given the chance of being a Ph.D. student. I am absolutely sure I have made the most right choice of my life to be part of Mahidol University.
