หลักสูตรระดับปริญญาตรี หลักสูตรวิศวกรรมศาสตรบัณฑิต (วิศวกรรมอุตสาหการ)

1. หลักสูตรฯ จัดการศึกษาในแนวใด?

เพื่อเป็นการสนองตอบต่อความต้องการอย่างมากของตลาดแรงงานด้าน วิศวกรรมอุตสาหการในภาคอุตสาหกรรมและภาคธุรกิจต่าง ๆ ภาควิชาฯ จึงได้จัดให้มีการเรียนการสอนในวิชาพื้นฐานอย่างเพียงพอใน 2 ปีแรก คือ วิทยาศาสตร์ คณิตศาสตร์ ภาษาอังกฤษ สังคมศาสตร์ และเทคโนโลยีการผลิตขั้นพื้นฐาน

สำหรับการศึกษาใน 2 ปีหลัง จะเป็นการศึกษาที่เน้นหนักไปทางด้านเทคโนโลยีการผลิตระดับกลางและระดับสูง เทคนิคการบริหารจัดการงานผลิต และการจัดการเทคโนโลยีต่าง ๆ เช่น การออกแบบโรงงานอุตสาหกรรม การควบคุมคุณภาพ การวางแผนและควบคุมการผลิตด้วยคอมพิวเตอร์ การพัฒนาวิธีทำงานเพื่อเพิ่มผลผลิตและลดต้นทุนการผลิต การออกแบบและพัฒนาเครื่องมือช่วยผลิต การออกแบบและพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์และบรรจุภัณฑ์ การจัดทำระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อการจัดการต่าง ๆ เป็นต้น

นอกจากนั้นภาควิชาฯ ยังส่งเสริมให้มีการศึกษาเกี่ยวกับสิ่งแวดล้อมและผลกระทบของงานวิศวกรรมที่มีผลต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม รวมทั้งการศึกษาในรายวิชาที่จะนำไปใช้ในการดำเนินธุรกิจขนาดเล็กของตนเอง

1.จำเป็นหรือไม่ที่จะต้องจบปริญญาตรีทางด้าน วิศวกรรมอุตสาหการ ถึงจะเรียนหลักสูตรนี้ได้

ไม่จำเป็น, ทางหลักสูตรเปิดรับทุกสาขา แต่สำหรับคนที่ไม่ได้จบทางด้านวิศวกรรมอุตสาหการ ทางหลักสูตรจะมีการจัดหลักสูตรปรับพื้นฐานให้

2.งานวิจัยในหลักสูตรปริญญาโทนี้มีอะไรบ้าง

คณาจารย์ประจำหลักสูตรฯ มีความเชี่ยวชาญพิเศษและสนใจงานวิจัยด้าน การจัดการโลจิสติกส์และโซ่อุปทาน การจัดการวิศวกรรมและคุณภาพ สถิติประยุกต์และการวิจัยดำเนินการ และการประยุกต์วิศวกรรมการผลิตและการพัฒนา

3. หลักสูตรมีทุนวิจัยให้นักศึกษาบ้างหรือไม่

ทางหลักสูตรมีทุนสนับสนุนสำหรับนักศึกษาโดยแบ่งเป็นทุนการศึกษา, ทุนวิจัย, ทุนผู้ช่วยสอน และ ทุนผู้ช่วยนักวิจัย ซึ่งช่วยสนับสนุนทั้งแบบเต็มจำนวนและบางส่วน

Doctoral Program (International) Ph.D. (Logistics and Engineering Management)

1. The Ph.D. Program is an international program but offered in Thailand. What are the international activities offered by the Program?

The Program has invited international faculty members from famous universities to offer special research seminars on the topics of interest throughout the year. The students will also be encouraged to participate in an international conferences, workshops, or seminars in which the students can gain international experience. They will participate in the mobility program annually which they can exchange their research ideas and build networking with students from other universities in ASEAN. In addition, on case by case basis, the students will have an opportunity to get international faculty members from our partner universities to jointly supervise their research.

2. Does the program provide scholarship or some financial support to the Ph.D. students?

No, the program does not provide direct scholarship or financial support to the students. But most of our faculty members have some research funding from different sources. The students will have opportunities to involve in the faculty’s research projects and get some financial supports from the projects instead.

3. What are the research areas that the Ph.D. students can focus on?

The students’ research topics will be based on the students’ interest in the area of Logistics and Engineering Management. The program will match the student’s interest area with the faculty member who is the expert or has an interest in the same area.
