Mahidol - EGEW Double Masters Degree Program with Kyoto University, Japan � First Batch of Mahidol University Students Go to Kyoto for One Year

The first batch of Double Masters Degree Program between International Masters Program in Environmental & Water Resources Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University and Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies, Kyoto University, Japan went for their one year study period there.  One of them is Febrian Rizkianto from Indonesia.  His major advisor at Mahidol University is Visiting Prof. Dr. Ranjna Jindal –Program Director of International PhD Program in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering, Faculty of Engineering.  The thesis title of Mr. Febrian at Mahidol University is “Biodiesel Production from Rice Bran Oil using Heterogeneous Silver Nanoparticles Impregnated Catalyst Made from Egg Shells Waste”.  At Kyoto University, he will do his thesis research on “Biodiesel Production from Sewage Sludge and the influence on Overall Sludge Treatment System” under the supervision of Prof. Masaki Takaoka and Dr. Kazuyuki Oshita.
