On 16 February 2018, Mahidol University offered gratitude to the Minister Counselor/Deputy Head of Mission - Royal Norwegian Embassy, Thailand and the Minister Counselor/Deputy Head of Mission - Royal Norwegian Embassy, Myanmar, for the generosity of granting the post graduate scholarships as the Capacity Building Initiative for students from ASEAN Countries during 2013-2015.
One current PhD student Ms. Tin Mar Lar Thein from Myanmar - a Norwegian scholarship recipient along with her Major Advisor - Visiting Prof. Dr. Ranjna Jindal, Program Director of International PhD Program in Environmental & Water Resources Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, were among the invited guests of this very special event organized by the International Relations Division (IRD), Office of the President (OP), Mahidol University.
Dean of Engineering - Asst. Prof. Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn, Vice Dean for Research and International Relations - Asst. Prof. Dr. Yodchanan Wongsawat, Program Director of International Masters Program in Civil Engineering - Asst. Prof. Dr. Teraphan Ornthammarath and one senior faculty member of Civil and Environmental Engineering Department - Asst. Prof. Dr. Wonsiri Punurai also attended the event.
