From 31 June to 1 May 2023, the Cluster of Logistics and Rail Engineering (CLARE), Mahidol University (MU) with its director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phumin Kirawanich, in cooperation with SEL Group directed by Mr. Ed Wistance took part in an exhibition at the 25th Asia Pacific Rail, the Future of Rail in Asia.

 

 

In the Digital Rail Theatre, Dr. Pipatphon Lapamonpinyo from MU, affiliated with Mr. Hugh Hunter from SEL Group, gave a presentation entitled “The Integration of Cybersecurity into Railway Development Life Cycle”. This was to raise awareness of cyber threats and to place an emphasis on the importance of cybersecurity in railway systems.

 

 

In the following session at the on-Floor Seminar Theatre, Dr. Pipatphon Lapamonpinyo and Mr. Hugh Hunter, affiliated with Mr. David Clark, a director and managing partner from IHF Asia Pacific, gave a presentation on “Human Factors in Cybersecurity” to emphasize the impacts of human errors in rail safety and cybersecurity.
