On 20 Jan 16, Dr. Trakarn Prapaspongsa trained 70 engineers, technicians and relevant officers on biogas technology for industry and building at Pearl Hotel in Phuket.
The training is a part of the continuous projects entitled “Human Resource Development on Renewable Energy for Industry and Buildings (2012-2015)” of Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency, Ministry of Energy, Thailand. Under these projects Dr. Trakarn Prapaspongsa and Bright Management Consulting Co., Ltd trained engineers, technicians and relevant officers in order to promote the renewable energy technologies according to Thailand’s Alternative Energy Development Plan to be widely and effectively applied in the industrial and building sectors in Thailand. From 2012 to the present, Dr. Trakarn has been the biogas expert in this training program, designed the biogas courses and modelling tool as well as trained more than 1,100 people from general/food and beverage/pulp and paper/chemical industries and buildings. As a part of this training program, there have been site-visits on various renewable energy plants such as biogas, solar, biomass and wind energy, etc.
