Invent for the Planet 2023 กิจกรรมที่จัดขึ้นเพื่อค้นหาความคิดสร้างนวัตกรรมเพื่อแก้ปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้นบนโลกของเรา โดยจะจัดขึ้นในวันที่ 10-12 กุมภาพันธ์ 2566 ณ ห้อง Innogineer คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล พร้อมกันกับอีก 40 มหาวิทยาลัยจากทั่วทุกมุมโลก
กิจกรรมดังกล่าว เปิดกว้างให้นักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยมหิดลทุกคน ทุกคณะ ทุกชั้นปี ทุกโปรแกรม ได้สมัครเข้ามาทำงานร่วมกัน ใช้ทักษะและแนวคิดที่หลากหลาย เพื่อเป้าหมายเดียวกันคือสร้างนวัตกรรมที่จะทำให้โลกของเราดีขึ้น และเกิดความยั่งยืน พร้อมมีช่องทางออนไลน์ให้มีโอกาสได้ปรึกษาหรือสอบถามผู้เชี่ยวชาญจากสาขาต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง ทั้งจากทางประเทศไทย และต่างประเทศ
ภายหลังการทำงาน 48 ชั่วโมง แต่ละกลุ่มจะต้องนำเสนอผลงานความคิดด้านนวัตกรรม และงานที่ได้รับการคัดเลือกจะถูกส่งไปยังมหาวิทยาลัย Texas A&M ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา เพื่อเป็นตัวแทนจากมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดลในการประกวดแนวคิดด้านนวัตกรรมกับมหาวิทยาลัยอื่น ๆ ในโครงการ
ในปีที่ผ่านมา ตัวแทนจากมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดลได้เสนอแนวคิดแก้ปัญหาด้าน Disaster Resilient Housing และได้รับคัดเลือกเป็นหนึ่งในผู้เข้ารอบชิงชนะเลิศ ไปนำเสนอผลงานที่ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา ซึ่งเป็นโอกาสดีที่จะได้แลกเปลี่ยนแนวคิดด้านนวัตกรรมกับนักศึกษาจากมหาวิทยาลัยอื่น และเรียนรู้ประสบการณ์ใหม่ ๆ

Mahidol University students are to find solutions to global issues at Invent for the Planet 2023
With Invent for the Planet 2023, there are opportunities for all Mahidol University students to come together and find good innovative ideas that could help solve our planet's problems. The event will be on February 10-12, 2023 along with 40 universities from around the world.
The local event will be held at the Innogineer, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University so all participants can work together and come up with the suitable ideas within 48 hours. Online links / connections will be provided as well for communicating with mentors and stakeholders from other countries. The best idea presented will be sent to Texas A&M University, USA as part of the innovation contest.
Last year, a group of Mahidol University students was selected as a finalist and were invited to present their idea on Disaster Resilient Housing at Texas A&M University, USA. It was a magnificent opportunity for them.
