Financial Support
The program offers scholarships to students based on their academic merit. The number of available scholarships may vary from year to year. There are two types of scholarships currently available. Note that these scholarships can be combined with other fundings that provide living expenses, such as Teaching Assistant (TA), Research Assistant (RA), and Living Allowance supports.
Type 1: Full tuition & fees scholarship
The program offers full tuition and fees scholarships to support International and Thai students with excellent academic records and strong potential to continue their education at the master’s level at Mahidol University.
- Level of Study: Master degree.
- Duration of awards: 2 years (4 semesters).
- Detail of financial support: Tuition fees and other fees are fully supported. Note that applicants must provide their own living expenses during their study.
- Qualifications of the applicants:
- Holding any nationalities.
- Applicants must have successfully completed their Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related fields with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25/4.00 scale. Students who are in the final academic term toward completion of a bachelor’s degree and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 are also eligible to apply.
- Applicants must meet the English proficiency requirement of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.

- Application: All candidates must submit their application through Faculty of Graduate Studies Online Application System (Faculty of Graduate Studies' Website). Although the application can be submitted throughout the year for foreign applicants, to be considered for the scholarship, we must receive the application by May 5, 2020. The scholarship is considered on a rolling basis, so please submit it as early as possible.
- Conditions: Successful applicants will be required to sign a scholarship agreement. Financial support will commence with the first term of the relevant academic program applied for. Scholarship recipients must meet minimum performance requirement during their study by having GPA > 3.00 for each semester and shows satisfactory progress on their thesis.
Type 2: Partial tuition & fees scholarship
The faculty and the program are jointly funding this scholarship to support International and Thai students with excellent academic records and strong potential to continue their education at the master’s level at Mahidol University.
- Level of Study: Master degree.
- Duration of awards: 2 years (4 semesters).
- Detail of financial support: Tuition fees and other fees are partialy supported. Students are responsible for their own living expense.
- Qualifications of the applicants:
- Holding any nationalities.
- Applicants must have successfully completed their Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related fields with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00/4.00 scale. Students who are in the final academic term toward completion of a bachelor’s degree and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 are also eligible to apply.
- Applicants must meet the English proficiency requirement of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
