Prof.Dr.-Ing. Jörn Pachl, TU Braunschweig, Germany delivered a special course to our student on February 17-21, 2020 at CLARE, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University. This course focused on railway signalling and operations.

The students learned about the railway operation, dynamics of train movements, the theory of train separation, fixed block operation, automatic train protection, interlocking principles, signals in the interlocking area, capacity analysis, scheduling, traffic diagram, traffic control with operations, centralized traffic control and automation technologies

This gave students the opportunity to learn not just the theory but also from his experiences.
