Pharmaceutical Technology and Engineering Research Unit (PTEG)
The primary purpose of this laboratory is to conduct outstanding research related to Pharmaceutical Chemistry (drug design and synthesis, physicochemical characterization) and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology (drug delivery systems, particle formulation and engineering, and nanomedicines). The laboratory is designed to prepare students for research and academic careers in pharmaceutical industry and provide services for a wide range of research communities including nutraceuticals, health and personal care, and foodstuffs. This lab (Figure 7.12) is placed at Room CH207, the second floor of Engineering Building II.
