The main research activities in our laboratories focusing on food preservation technologies (without heating and without chemical preservatives), extraction of food constituents and pharmaceutical active ingredients from Thai herbs, fruits, vegetables, animals and microorganisms using efficient technologies (such as pulsed electric field, high hydrostatic pressure, supercritical carbon dioxide and subcritical fluid technologies) and the modification of biomaterial wastes for value added products. Moreover, we also design and develop pharmaceutical and health products serving an aging population and healthcare industries that have been rapidly grown.
